A Collar And Leash For Every Purpose

We are a small home-based business with aspirations to be your one-stop shopping destination for the “perfect gift” and as we are definitely animal people we create unique products with artistic designs whether it is an original design of ours or using a unique pattern of webbing on our nylon leads. From our “supervisors” to yours the perfect lead makes a world of difference as not only are they the jewelry for your slightly hairier partners but they also serve a functional purpose and ours make it look good. We have literally thousands of designs and patterns that we offer so if you are looking for something specific please contact us and we can go help create the perfect “bling-bling” or gorgeous classic lead that is both functional and gorgeous.

TYPES OF LEADS:

  • Walking: The most useful and commonly used kind that is used for your normal daily task of walking your animals, designs can range from simplistic to ornate but generally consists of a loop for a handle and a metal hook for attaching to the collar.

  • Athletic: An upgraded version of the walking leash with a secondary hand loop closer to the collar to facilitate tighter control of your fur-buddy when doing things like running, agility sports, or such.

  • Training: Can come in a variety of designs but mostly consisting of either a limited slip (IE Martingale like) or full slip design mainly to help teach our little guys and gals to not pull when learning to behave like canine ladies and gentlemen on a leash by either redirecting the nose or squeezing the body when they pull and the tension is released when they stop pulling.

  • Traffic Control: This is a specialty lead and to be upfront with you is only recommended for well trained dogs who normally go “off lead” or without a leash as it serves a more specialized function. Our traffic control leads are normally only used in close quarters like in the parking lot at the dog park where you plan on letting him/her run free once they get inside of the play area, they are small by design to be able to conveniently fit in your pocket as your fur-buddy runs and plays.

  • Tie Out: While these have their place for example if you have a yard but an inadequate fence and want to leave your best friend outside to play while you are at work we currently do not offer these or the pulley system for them. To be honest with you our recommendation is that if possible you install an “invisible fence” instead of using a tie out system, however, tie out are good for temporary social gatherings (i.e. a picnic at the park).

  • Retractable: Please do not use these as they promote bad habits and fail to provide adequate control.

TYPES OF MATERIALS USED:

  • Leather: Creates a beautiful rustic appearance with high strength and can be decorated with a variety of conchos, rhinestones, blood knots, or other hardware. Can become stiffer if it gets wet but overall makes a fantastic product.

  • Biothane: Has all of the benefits of leather products but is more limited in size and patterns but is stronger and more water-resistant however doesn’t age quite as well as leather.

  • Nylon and Polyester Tubing: An excellent product for both leashes and collars and comes in a huge variety of patterns. Our nylon and polyester leads are perfectly fine with getting wet as they dry relatively quickly and are very strong and resistant to abrasion.

  • Rope Leads: We are proud to offer a variety of rope leashes all of which offer their own unique charm and high strength capabilities. Our hand-dyed and braided cotton leads create a certain boho style charm and have their own almost classic beauty to them. Our climbing rope leashes are our strongest in this line as they either feature metal clamps with an industrial grade adhesive to protect against wear or whipping that securely holds the end in place and are themed to create an attractive and chic appearance.

  • Metal Chain Hybrid: We have created a special line for the more chewy supervisors who have the habit of chewing through their normal leads. Utilizing a handle made of leather, nylon, or rope the actual lead part of the design consists of a welded metal design for increased strength and resistance to chewing as our buddies can sometimes chew through leashes of normal design.
